Koopje - Cheap buy

Vlak bij mijn werk zit een tweedehandswinkel. Hier wordt voornamelijk kleding verkocht. Ik was er al vaak langs gelopen, maar nog nooit binnen geweest. Momenteel wordt de wintercollectie verkocht voor 1 Euro per kledingstuk. Ik ben toch maar eens gaan kijken. Wie weet vind je er een kledingstuk met een leuk stofje, waarvan je kleding voor de kids kan maken... Ik had wel wat gevonden, voor 7,50. Ook geen geld, maar ik keek nog even verder. Ergens in een hoekje van de winkel vond ik een stapeltje stoffen. Ik moest er gewoon even in kijken. En vond een mooie lap, 1,50 m x 1,50 m, zwart corduroy. Het kledingstuk dat ik had gevonden, hing ik terug, deze lap was veel mooier en beter te gebruiken. Ik liep naar de kassa om de prijs te vragen. De dames waren net bezig de lappen stof te prijzen. Over de prijs van deze mooie lap moesten ze even nadenken... Toen ze het bedrag noemden schrok ik een beetje. 1,50 Euro! Op de markt betaal je minstens 10 Euro voor zo'n lap. Ik kan er nog niet overuit en weet zeker dat ik nog een terug kom snuffelen in het stapeltje stoffen... :)

Close to where I work is a old-clothes shop. They mainly sell, well... clothes :). I passed by this shop many times, but never visited it. Now they are selling the winter collection for only 1 Euro per garment. I went to take a look. Maybe I could find a garment made of a nice fabric that I can use to make clothing for the kids. I did found something which was priced for 7,50 Euro. A cheap by, I admit, but I had to look further trough the shop. Somewhere in a corner of the shop I found a little stash of fabrics. I had to take a look, of course ;). I found a nice piece of fabric: black corduroy 1,50 meter by 1,50 meter. I did put the garment I found before back in its place and went to the cash deck to ask the price for the fabric. The ladies just were busy pricing the fabrics. They had to think about the price... When they mentioned the price I was a bit shocked... 1,50 Euro! On the market you pay at least 10,00 Euro for such a piece of fabic. I'm still amazed about it and I'm sure I will be back to nose about in the little stash with fabrics... :)
